3 Steps Toward a Healthier LIfe

There is an old saying that goes something like this ? ?If you keep on dancing, you?ll never grow old.?

If we can learn and apply a few simple techniques of relaxation in the 3 major areas of our lifestyle, viz,

1.Mental

2.Physical

3.Physiological

-we will feel happier and healthier and continue to ? ?dance till the end.?

Using nature as a guiding principle...

Let?s do the ?Healthy 3 Step? to assist us in achieving Radiant Health.

1. MENTAL

?Relaxation Technique?

How do we unwind the springs of the mental clock when it is wound so tight that the emotions of anger, frustration, fear and worry predominate?

May I suggest that you learn the art of relaxing the mind by using the techniques of:

?Physical relaxation - relax the entire body from the head to the toes

?Imagery - close your eyes and create a visual image that is positive, warm and enticing.

?Affirmations - repeat a series of phrases that are positive and self-fulfilling.

2. PHYSICAL

?The Nooner?

I have found that during those times of our lives when the stress is the greatest, ?The Nooner? is the best restorer of energy and equilibrium.

?For those of you that are not familiar with this term ? it means having a nap after the mid-day lunch.

?The ?nap? doesn?t have to be a long protracted affair ? just a few minutes of restful sleep will restore vitality and allow greater performance over the next few hours.

?Practise Step # 1 while enabling this restful reviver.

3. CHEMICAL

?The No-breakfast Plan?

There is no better practise for the restoration of health than acquiring the habit of not eating until approximately mid-day.

?Our body clock asks us to allow the cycle of elimination and excretion to continue from approximately mid-night through to mid-day.

?At first you may experience a bit of lethargy and conflict with your habits, but I promise you that after a short while you will feel the positive ! results of waiting until noon to ?Break your fast.?
